Do you HATE a Hardware Manufacturer?

Sony 48 20.69%

Microsoft 53 22.84%

Nintendo 6 2.59%

Apple 49 21.12%

More than 1. (If yes, an honest Fanboy?) 8 3.45%

None. 68 29.31%

Total:232

I don't hate anyone, and I don't understand why anyone would. It's fair enough if you don't like a company's products or their policy regarding their products, but I don't understand why anyone would hate them for it. It's fair enough if they're willingly doing bad things, or at least not trying to stop or mitigate any bad consequnces their own work does (cutting down the rainforest, buying materials from warlords in Congo and what have you), but not for their actual company policy.

I don't like Apple's policy with their products, but I still appreciate what they do. Everyone is contributing, and I'm loving the competition!

I dislike Sony and MS because they've created a culture of smug, self-entitled shits (See gaming media, hardcore gamers, third parties developers) that think the gaming landscape revolves around them and their desires.

Also I hate Sony because convex analog sticks are horrible.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Yes, Apple.

I like their iPods and may continue to buy them but I will never buy a Mac computer/laptop, iPhone or an iPad.

You should have made the last option "I have a life" because obviously anyone who picks any of the other options probably doesn't.

Bullshit.

Just because you greatly dislike a manufacturer or brand does not in any way affect your "has a life" status. I also dislike GM products because (aside from the corvette) I think they are ugly, unrefined, and generally crap. Its just the way it is in life. You like one thing for various reasons and dislike another.

Apple generates my hate for a slew of things and predominately its their corporate culture and all or nothing ideology where you are forced to use all Apple products or none. I choose none so I have more choices and can get what best fits my needs.

Apple *shudders*

Yeah dis-interest and dislike are a long way removed from hate. I don't hate the church down the road for their annoyingly loud church bells, and that actually effects me directly. So why should you hate them when you have other alternatives should you decide to exercise your rights as a person?

Corporate hate for:

  • Environmental carnage? Yes
  • Racism? Yes
  • Bigotry? Yes
  • Human rights abuses? Yes
  • Child labour? Yes
  • Faulty products which hurt people? Yes
  • Percieved infractions to your beliefs when you have other equally viable alternatives? Hell the fuck no.

Tease.

None, but im surprise that at the moment, more persons hate Sony. Ive read a couple of time that there was more Sony fanboy on the forum.

Its not MS, Sony or Nintendo that created this, its the users themselves.

Hating a brand isn't that much more stupid than loving a brand.

The most reliable guarantee that a product's is good is the product itself.

I don't hate a brand. I sometimes hate the shit they make, same goes for liking the product. Brands release aload of shit but sometimes there is a peanut glittering in that turd :p
