This classes let's u see through, when "paused" nintendo could do that to.. mayby by tilt the screen, a voice command... or somephing else..

And it leaves you playing...:) just like a solarium leaves u brown..

And i bet nintendo (who took over segas vr department, and worked on this the last 20 years) will come up whit something genius.. we have to see..:)

Nintendo don't work that way. Usually they are against using brand new bleeding edge tech in their products as it is cost prohibitive, unreliable and difficult to manufacture. Plus they have gone on record numerous times saying they don't like the idea of glasses. If you really think such a product is coming soon it would be much more likely to be from Sony. Personally, I'd drop it

3DS is pretty new tech.. the virtual boy was pretty new tech ( but still a joke)

But this is NOT "brand new bleeding egde tech".. first time i tried VR. was 12 yaers ago.. (before windows 2000..:) It was a system pretty much as big as an old acade machine.. And off course the gloves an headset.. 12 yers..

Today..  12 YEARS after.. The hardware are readdy for home use.. size and price.. and new (cheap) things like motion plus, has been inventet.  And there are many video glasses on the market.

But i have to ask.. have you tried VR. do you know whats it's like to be in a game and look around for real. And see enymys clossing in from both side...?

And you know VR has been in the arcades, for 15 years or more..?

Sony could do it to.. (and so could apple) but remember as i said before.. nintendo has done a lot of home work.. and the wii ( whit motion and the wii-board) are practely made for it..:)  And sony usaly wait for nintendo to do new things.

You drop it.. ok..:)  But i still believe...

Around the Network

I think with Wii we'll see what we saw with NES/SNES... a lower cost new model (that might drop features like GC playback) releasing after it's successor.  A $99-129 "Wii jr" in 2012/2013 would move major units...

lol i saw the date after i read a few posts and i was like "why would they redesign it when they have the Wii U coming out next year" :P

the reason for them not redesigning it is that it is designed well from the start, does not break, is not big, is selling well and the cost of making it is not at a loss and it looks good as it does

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

They kinda are... it has backwards compatibility, can use the Wii controllers, but has a new controller and updated hardware.
