Mass Effect is no  longer an exclusive series(if you are referring to the first one, isn't that on the pc too?) Also, I wonder how they would accomplish an fps on the kinect, without using a motion/ traditional controller. If you mean that add a little mini game(like done in Harry Potter), I wouldn't consider that  a "kinect game." This is somewhat similar to the whole pc/360 exclusives debate.

Still some problems to be ironed out, but it appears it may be capable of playing fpses.

As exclusives I meant not on a console and what I was talking about was quite clear on that aspect.

? The Mass Effect series is available on more than one console if that is what you are trying to say. Are you saying just because the move is  not the optimal control scheme for some of those games, it should be ignored?

No, Move isnt just not the optimal control scheme it was tact on mostly after the game was done. Again read the quoted link, the one you quoted that tells you my views. As far as this thread goes I am not going to respond to the same things I have already responded to when you already have the link for it.

So what if the control scheme was added post release? Games like MAG and Heavy Rain supposedly added the Move splendidly, whereas some such as Residant Evil 5(supposedly) did not. If we are talking about Move compatible games, you can not ignore them, but if you are talking about Move exclusives, then you could ignore them.

Ok this is the last one

NO games after release should not be included. If from the start they put Move in it then fine, otherwise they are putting it in games after they released which have a high metacritic score to boost them. It is the only reason that I can fathom as they don't add enough to the gaming experience imo.

Why can you ignore move exclusive? I am mixed up there. All move only games whether they are on other consoles or not should be included. Killzone 3 and Little Big Planet 2 should be included. They were both designed with Move in mind.

Should the addition of features in a game post release hurt a game if poorly implemented? The move control scheme doesn't hurt the game, and if it was well implemented, I see no reason why it would matter if it was inteded to be a move release or not , but obviously you disagree so I guess we are at odds.

As exclusives I meant not on a console and what I was talking about was quite clear on that aspect. And Mass Effect was just an example for what I was trying to say. I wouldn't call your resident evil or heavy rain a move game simply because it has motion controls, read that thread for mine and apparently Squilliams point. If you cant understand mine you can read his. If you read that thread it explains my reasons.

Its pretty funny you quoted that yet are still asking me the question. And I am saying that it didnt have to be a good job for halo or mass effect because some of the move jobs on the games are horrendous and seem to be there only say they can be considered move games as well. They dont add enough to the game.

Just make sure you use the words "console exclusive" when talking about PC/360 or PS3/PC games. People can get pretty worked up about that stuff (and I'm pretty bad in that respect tbh).

I remember a while back every other thread was debating the nature of the term "exclusive", and these threads would go on for ages.

I found this utterly hilarious.

"And Kinect proved itself to have better games than PlayStation's Move."

Right because Move has Sports Champions and....uhhh....ok, I'm drawing a blank.

Tumble, Heavy Rain, The Fight, Resident Evil 5, Echochrome ii, The Shoot, Funky Lab Rat,  (I would add flight control HD but I get the feeling I'm the only one who loves this game)

no, you don't!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
