 Vice City for the win. Having to level up your stats in SA annoyed me so much. If I can steer a car I can steer a car!!!! I don't want the game telling me I shouldn't be able to drive a virtual car just because I haven't been playing for 10+ hours already. Ridiculous. Plus the VC music was so so so much better.

LOL I am not cold blooded. I actually really hate violence. But it is just a video game. There is a difference between a video game and reality. Also, I don't think GTA 4 will ever come to the Wii. But I hope some GTA game will come out for it.

Let's see:

1. Wii is by far outselling anything known to man. (gaming wise)
2. Godfather Blackhand was amazing on the Wii, controls FTW!!
3. GTA is a better game thad Godfather.
4. GTA4 was initiated years prior to Wii, therefore the only reason it isn't on Wii now is because of how badly Gamecube sold.
5. Rockstar/take two have already been showing Wii some love from "mature" games like Bully and manhunt 2 to games designed solely for higher end machines like Table Tennis.
6. Rockstar/Take Two are a company that last I checked wanted to make money. When GTASA had already made them a brazillian dollars on the massive PS2 they still later ported it to the Xbox.

Oh, GTA4 may not make it to Wii due to size constraints, but there is not reason they won't scale it down some and put it out on a Wii. They can't ignore the millions of Wii owners. They would be financially stupid to.

I would bet for a GTA4 knockoff that was built specifically for the Wii at the least. Godfather type controls, if not better, and really nice graphics. Possibly will be rated as best looking game on Wii. Then BAM!!!! Wii sells hit next huge rush as all the little teens run out saying Nintendo is no longer kiddie!!!!

Or you bind Driving to the stick on the Nunchuck. Like Scarface and The Godfather already did. Hell Scarface barely uses motion commands at all.


 I did not know about all of that stuff sorry. I never picked up the game even those it is good.

The 360 and Wii use the same disc size.

memory and cpu/gpu issues in mind.

You obviously think this has never happened before. They know they would have to reduce certain things, should it be done.

You don't have to. Rockstar themselves may see a point. Some of the people here don't see the point of PS3 development, but Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty 4 have shown there is a point.


 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

What size constraints? Doesn't the Wii support the same media capacity as the 360, i.e. 9 GB DVD? Knowing that lower res textures can be used, it seems that size is the least of Rockstar's problems if they want to port the game for the Wii.

edit: I just googled it and the trailor came out, Now I see why they delayed GTA 4 so they can work on the wii version, looks like it will take alot of sales from XBOX and Playstation.
