Forums - Gaming - About 3DS online: "please put [the Jump to Conclusions mat] away" - Capcom

The following comment was made by Capcom's Wes Phillips concerning the Friend Code chatter with Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition...

“More info regarding SSFIV 3D online functionality coming next week. In the meantime, please put [the Jump to Conclusions mat] away”.

Well, we know that the game features online play without the need for Friend Codes, but there's still some information to be revealed concerning Friend Codes and a friend list for the game. Are we going to get a universal Friend Code with each system? I sure hope so, and the information better come from Nintendo's event next week!

It looks that Capcom is better in advertising the 3DS than Nintendo is

A lot of people in the past week. Every nintendo news was stated as almost fact last week, and it was negative news. I am not denying that somethings are bad, but a lot of it was jumping the gun.

Nintendo wanted to sell some DS in the holidays, advertising the 3DS would have been dump.

They will give you the information when the timing is better, for them.

Probably 11 years ago when Nintendo allowed Capcom to develop two Zelda games for the GBC (Oracle of Ages/Seasons) and the Link to the Past port for the GBA. Around the same time it was announced that Biohazard was coming to the newly announced GameCube.

Yes, but that relationship ended badly with RE4 going to the ps2! Nintendo didn't even ask Capcom to bring over Mega Man into SSBB....and a lot of fans, and capcom wanted it.

Could be right, imo.
