I think I had a bad connection.... I finished the match, but after I returned to the Tavern, I got disconnected due to network instability. Oh well. Seems to be that online isn't my thing, huh? :)

It's odd, though. MH3 is the only game I have that has online issues. Mario Kart is fine, Goldeneye:007 is fine, just not MH. I wonder if I can fix it.

I have the same issue. After a few times online it becomes far less frequent and far better as well

Ha ha... Good. I definitely had a bad connection. I had a lot of lag, I think (I was fighting Quru, but I kept hitting thin air...Not good).

Well, I should be able to get through the 1/2 star online quests alone, I think, if they're similar to the offline quests.

Interesting....you disappeared from the match and I was left alone. I abandoned the mission and went back to the tavern but you appeared offline in the Friends list. Oh well, not to worry. We will do it again and it work perfectly next time.  : )

I have noticed that the servers are nowhere near as good as they were, say, 5 months ago...

Maybe Capcom have given up on this game? It's a shame, it's Capcom's first single-home console platform 2-million seller, and is probably the game which has earned the most money for them :-/

@EntilZha: Hmmm... Odd. It told me that you had left the match, so I finished the match alone (Quru called in a Royal Ludroth, BTW. I was hoping that a Rathian wouldn't appear. I was lucky). Although I got D/C'd right after returning to the Tavern, I retained all of the reward items from the quest, so it must have saved.

@Conegamer: I hear that Capcom has cut down on the number of servers for the game. When will they discontinue support? Next year? It'll be sad when they do. Although MH3 exceeded Capcom's expectations, it definitely didn't sell as well as the handheld titles, even in Japan. I hope that they won't give up on it. MH3 still has a sizable online following. I wonder if they'll start to make us pay for online service (like in Japan).

Actually, MHTri is Capcom's most successful game of all time, due to having subscriptions and low advertising costs...

Also, I expect 2013 will be when the servers close for good, or they group it with other servers. There's still around 3,000 people on at any time here in the UK, that ain't half bad for a game which is nearly a year old
