Boring... these are little adjustments... more will come in EMEAA with 306 down more 500k and PS3 up.
I predicted that weeks ago.

It's cherry picking at it finest. First, you compare two consoles to one, and you decide to eliminate of the comparison the DS and the PSP. This shit of handhelds aren't consoles is ridiculous. |
It's not cherry picking. Video game console is a defined market. Sony sells the PS3 and the PS2. It's not their fault Nintendo stopped selling the Gamecube. It's not other cell phone manufacturer's fault Apple only offers the Iphone. It's not Google's fault Apple's Mobile OS is only on the Iphone compared to Android which is on many different ones. To ignore the PS2 would be cherry picking, because it ignores part of the defined market which is the video game console market. And handhelds and Consoles are two distinct things. You could put them together and call it the video game market but they are still two distinct markets as well. It's like comparing trucks and cars, they're both automobiles but they are also clearly distinct products and markets.
If we only consider the Wii and PS3, that's just fanboy banter that we all take place in but Sony doesn't give a shit about that, neither does Nintendo or MS. When someone is committed to buying a home console and purchases a PS2, that could have been a Wii sold or a 360 had Sony not offered the PS2 so the PS2 is very much a part of the console market. I don't know why you would choose to ignore that.
PS3 needs to be adjusted down in America too.
So that means that the PS3 did outsell the 360 this year?
When all three unviel their shipments for Q4 2010, more adjustments may come and that will be it till April.
