Well, you at least strongly implied DS games sell a lot but aren't of a very high quality.

Hm, I want a BlazBlue and some jRPGs. Maybe also a WipEout.

I really don't mind the longer games on a portable (that is, the ones that are not pick and play for 10mins), but have a damn system-wide suspend feature because I have yet to finish SMT: Strange Journey on the DS without it (though I think the PSPGo already has it, so the PSP2 has good chances of having it as well).

On the other hand the announced 3DS lineup suggests that it will get lots of portable versions of console games either. Much more than the DS.

Honestly speaking I just want more first party game that matter to me. Not just God of War games on my handheld, but games like Uncharted or Infamous. More well done 2D platformers, more SRPGs, more games that come over from the East.

True that. Big reason for that is the hardware itself, obviously with such strong hardware you'd expect developers to want to create more console-like games. What can you do?

The thing is I agree that the PSP is a miniconsole, it core gaming experience comes from emulating ps2 like games. This is advantage it had over the DS and that is not to say psp didn't have handheld gems, but I believe it is save to say nintendo had a strong advantage on portable like experience, which I think iPhone is becoming the masters of.  

If you mean to say I believe PSP's library is more geared toward the hardcore and its flagship titles (the ones its known for) are mostly portable versions of console titles, while DS games tend to be more 'everyone'-oriented and mostly of a different nature altogether (aka utilizing the strong points that make the handheld unique) then yes. Yes I strongly believe that, and I also believe anyone with half a brain can see that that's true.
