No, the 2.5m is Wedbush's December 2010 360 estimate and the 1.9m EEDAR's December 2010 360 estimate.

The YoY is given in percentages in parentheses.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

O.k. but knowing his history it is more than implied.

He may favor the X360, but he's more reasonable than you think. He's not really a troublemaker like some others. I once thought he was, but it's just your disagreements here and there.

He even posts good PS3 news (like the MLB: The Show 2011 thread, for example).

We could use most posters like him, as we need more X360 news posted on this website.

The only difference between these "Analysts" and everyone who posts on VGC is that the analysts get paid.  Almost anyone who is given access to some of the data that is available and puts a little time into it can come up with a "Guess" like these guys.  We will find out the REAL numbers when these companies report their earnings.  Anything else is speculation...
