If there's one person that should cry foul over moderations, then it's got to be me. I've been banned nine times, by nine different moderators. Which suggests that everyone is out there to get me.

Lets face it if you drive 13,000 miles a year and I only drive 1,000 a year you are far more likely statistically to have an accident as you have been exposed to more risk. The answer is to post less which would be a shame so I say risk it!

Yea, but his 13,000 miles are obviously on a straight road with no intersections in the summer while your 1,000 is clearly on a winding road with .25" of ice in the winter and tons of intersections...who has the statistical advantage now?

I do as I drive on straight roads I believe we call them Motorways. I was going to embellish my original statement suggesting the many miles under your belt may make you a safer driver or as with the white van man over confident in a heavy van and deadly.

Anyway lets hope he/she does not come over to my twisty roads for a holiday it could get messy.

I was also going to mention with regards to my 1 post a day rating versus Rol's 13 a day post is that I have been moderated or warned. I do not agree with the moderation as I believe it was mostly a misunderstanding but the more you post the more likely you are to slip up.

The over-moderation of this board is absolutely absurd at times.  I've been banned for very similar things in very ridiculous context.  Basically, if a MOD doesn't agree with your viewpoint and it butthurts him/her you'll end up with a moderation.

You serious? I stated my viewpoint hundreads of time without any problem. Im sure its more about being in relation to the topic at hand as well as state your viewpoint in a respectuous manner. His prediction in that specific thread only served to derail the topic to "Xbox loosing another exclusive confirmed".

The problem is, plenty of posts go on and off topic throughout a post.  You need to be loose in the interpretation of this because quite honestly message boards exist for communication.   Conversations will evolve, grow and change often times into something much different then where it began.

Like I said, there is a clear assumption of guilty before being proven as such.  Which is a little absurd.  A simple warning would suffice for most people.  Bringing out the ban hammer because a mod doesn't like what you have to say is a tad ridiculous.

But he was only warned no? In any case, I dont think MODs have any problem with discussion evolving to something else. It happens all the time in many threads. The topic the OP posted in was "EA: Mass effect 2 sold 1.6 Million (PC Xbox 360 sales) - poor PC sales??". Obviously, saying "PS3 release confirmed" in this thread show a lack of tact. I wouldnt agree with a ban but I fail to see the problem with the warning.

Considering it was zexen_lowe who warned you then you might want to hold you breath for if he comes back considering he hasn't been on since December 30th...

It should be noted he's just taking his summer vacation like he does every year!

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

I got banned for this:

Got to love it. Marriage is so meaningless. People of every orientation have totally blown the meaning. Marriage is like a possession in the world today. You like it, you obtain it, and when it breaks down, throw it out and get a new one. All these people that have been married 7 times, and never for more then 4 years at a time, just blow my mind. Then people act like marriage is so sacred, when its not between a man and a woman.

Personally, I have no problem with people marrying whoever they choose, but if your gonna do it, do it right. Sickness, Health, Death Do Us Part. If anything needs to happen to marriage, it is major penalties for basically committing perjury.

EDIT: This post has been moderated. -d1

Flaming (Do not spew your homophobia in the forums, it is seen as flaming a large group of our users. Oh, and no, it isn't the gay people who've twisted the word 'marriage'...)

I have been banned for obvious reasons in the past, but this one blew my mind, and really hurt me. All my life I have had a strong attraction to the same sex, but I have forced myself to not be with other men. I want to have kids, and I want my children to live with their mom and dad. If not for my desire to have children, I would be in a gay relationship without question. Everyone knows this to be true, its not something I hide, nor is it something I am ashamed of. That is why the Tyler Clementi situation pissed me off. He should have been proud of who he was, and taken care of the situation, and moved on with his life.

We all need to stop hiding behind masks, and people need to come to a realization that we are all unique. No one should be scared or ashamed of who they are.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

That moderator must have misread what you said... it's not anywhere near offensive towards gay people @_@ Disregarding your personal life, don't get me wrong, but your story is kind of sad, your comment didn't have anything wrong in it (unless it had something extremely offensive on the mod'd part). I'll go further and say that one is much worse than my situation, specially because you simply can't ban people for having a different opinion... Link to the thread?

12 May 2010: TugaNuno - Erm... ME2 late port on the PS3.. confirmed?

Warning: "Trolling (Flamebaiting, unnecessary comment, the PS3 isn't the issue at all here and your comment is a hit and run post that doesn't serve any purpose but to rile people up)"

I was a serious troll, FYI :p

If I had done this, I would've been banned. But then again, I've done this like a thousand times.
