Also good seeing Bad Company 2 PC is the top selling FPS.

PS3: 8
Wii: 8
DS: 2
X360: 2

One X360 title in german charts and two in French charts. It seems that PS3 and Wii dominate European software market (expect UK). Hard to believe that X360 is selling so close to PS3 in Germany and France.

this list shows that 360 is very reliant on UK in EMEAA. Its odd though that GT5 is relativly low on the list. The two biggest ps3 regions in EMEAA both have it quite a few places down.

Part of the issue for 360 outside UK is that, at least until now, the console has really needed to catch a territory switching from PC to console for online and FPS to really blossom.  It caught that moment perfect in the US and the UK comes a close second.

That's been the core of the 360's growth.  But Germany and a lot of other countries FPS/Online remains more popular on PC which seems to have hampered growth of 360.

PS3 has the advantage of brand plus the image (if not the fact) of a library that is more SP/console game centric vs being an alternative to gaming on a PC.

It's worth remembering that in a lot of European territories the Xbox brand was historically seen as the poor man's PC, something you got if you couldn't afford a gaming PC - not the best image although one the 360/Live has managed to erode much more than the Xbox did, and something I'm sure Kinect will help with as it makes the 360 look a lot like a PC substitute in those countries.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

The reason is GT5 just had 5-6 weeks in 2010 and still ended up high.

Btw pokemon HG/SS looks like the best selling game if you count them as one. It really astonishes me how theey count them as seperate sales :|
