Forums - Sony - Could PSP2 be 3D GlassLESS as its cheap?

I'd love it if Nintendo implemented a tracker which shows how many people turn off the 3D on the 3DS while they play.

I predict it will be well over 50% after a month. The non glasses 3D stuff on small screens I find very nauseating. You need perfectly still hands or here comes headache and eyesore...

no wonder nintendo recently wrote a bible on warning signs to protect themselves from lawsuits

I think they could, but if they decide to one up the 3DS in graphical power, the product itself would not be cheap, since other parts bring total cost up.

if they present it like a phone with a contract then they can sell it for low cost

This would eliminate a huge segment of the youth population.

Also would hurt the sales of the playstation brand in the worldwide sense.

how?

Well in some markets that sony does well in(Usually known as the others), contracts aren't really that well done.

Really? I never tried it out, do you never felt the same way with 3D glasses?

I did at first when I got in to 3D in early 2009. But your eyes get used to it...after a while you start turning depth higher and higher and all is well.

With the small glasess-less 3D screens that I've seen so far, the slightest tilt and the 3D image starts to disolve and disintegrate. So its not the actual 3D that is causing the eyesore, its the lack focus once you move your head/shake your hands slightly.

With the glasses, 3D follows you as you move so thats not an issue...

I was under the impression that the 3DS uses its camera to adjust for small movements and keep the 3D image in focus.

I have not heard of this and if Nintendo figured out how to do it they are amazing...Samsung, Sony and rest haven't been able to implement anything to fix the horrible viewing angle.

Its not a limitation of the DS or the screen they are using but the technology itself. Screen implemneted passive 3D filter doesn't have the ability to adjust according to the angle.

Perhaps nintendo will implement tracking where 3D gets disabled as soon as user is out of the viewing area...

Heres a newsflash.

In Poland despite popular belief in west you can't meet polar bears on the street.

And yes we have contracts for phones if you want you can get ps3/psp/wii/x360 instead of phone.

I hope they don't, 3D is as amazng as the first 5 min of seeing it. Sony needs to focus on actually supporting the next PSP. They need to make games that fit the PSP, not ports of the older brother.

I hope so. That would be some " incentive " for me to buy a PSP2.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Probably not, they're basically almost done with the PSPhone and it doesn't have a 3D screen. It does have a touchscreen though, which would be a pretty good thing to put on the PSP2.
