Forums - Gaming - Are you truly loyal to your chosen console manufacturer?

I am loyal to games first and foremost. And most of them happen to be sony first part games/developers or are loyal to sony platforms.

Syphon Filter, GTA, DMC, KZ, MGS, GoW, R&C, J&D, FF (the numbered series), etc. Since they were/still are on Sony Platforms, I guess you could say that I am a sony Loaylist. If you want to brand me.

I've never had anything but Nintendo systems in my house (except for Intellevision, but I wasn't even alive yet, so that doesn't count). I have every generation of Nintendo console, and I had every Nintendo handheld at one time or another. So far, I have been very loyal to Nintendo, but I still want a PS2 and an XBOX 360.

@Nintendownsmii
lol, guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Well, I now only have access to a PS3 & 360...Plan on buying a wii soon (lol, if I can ever find one available!) but will probably wait until some of the major RPG's come out like Dragon Quest & Tales, etc.

Anyhow, I'm so far behind in games to play that I'm not in a huge hurry (lol, haven't even gotten a chance to finish God of War II yet!)

100% nintendo. Not once owned another console.

Nope, I try an own them all. I go through games quick. So what i'll do is i'll buy one console, then whenever there is a software drought, i'll buy a second then get all the exclusives they had that i missed on, then after that i'll get the third.

This process can be shortened if I don't have any new SRPGs to play and the other system has a must play SRPG. (like say operation Darkness). I never did get around to getting an Xbox though. Probaly because i shifted to PC gaming mostly... well and I have like 60+ PS2 games and around 20 cube games. It was a combo of those two.

I went from NES to Sega Genesis to N64 to PS1 to PS2 to PSP to PS3 and I haven't looked back. Bought them all at launch except the NES because it came out the year I was born x_x. I have however considered both the 360 and the Wii.

The reason I did not purchase the 360 was the defective rate. I did not want to deal with that and by the time the 3 year warranty business came around I had the PS3 and was enjoying it so no point. Not to mention its nothing but a pain in the ass to have to send your system in for repairs even if it is free.

The Wii just sucks in my opinion. Both my cousins have it and hardly ever play it. I'm a huge Zelda fan but I couldn't stand playing Twilight Princess on the Wii. I played an hour at most and put it down for good. I hate the controller and I hate everything about it to be honest.

Oh forgot about the PC...  I was into PC gaming while I had my PS2.  Couldn't pass up Morrowind, Kotor, or Bloodlines :o.  Tried to play Oblivion but my PC wasn't up to par so I had to wait till I got my PS3 :).

it's about the games

i could't care less what name is written on my console
as long as i can play nice games on it
whether it's on a nintendo sega sony or microsoft is really no issue for me

''Hadouken!''

I've bought every Nintendo system ever released (minus Virtual Boy) for full price. My family does own a PS and a Xbox, but they were both bought at yard sales for $10 and $20 respectively. I think that's pretty loyal.

i just bought a psp
why?
not because it's made by sony
but because i wanted to play Tactics on it, and will need a psp to play Crisis Core later this year
