cavia's not dead, they (along with Artoon and feelplus) just got absorbed back into their parent company, AQ interactive.

I'm pretty sure some cavia staff are working on The Last Story, it totally looks like it's using their RE Chronicles engine. Back in 2009, Naoto Ohshima (who heads Artoon) actually took over leadership of cavia as well, so the teams are pretty closely linked today.

Oh good. When I first decided to purchase the title I was told that Cavia went under.

I wrongly assumed that meant they died entirely.

Glad to hear these guys still have jobs.

Whoa this is surpsing. The sales weren't that hot and I picked it up for $15 to. Not a shabby game and I can see it becoming better if they improve with each sequel.

Meh I enjoyed the game but it needs a lot of work if they want to make it into a big series. But I guess this is a good thing though as it could be really great with some fixes here and there.
