We'll just have to agree to disagree then. I couldn't disagree more. DQIX is a very good game, but not nearly as good as FFXIII and Square easily topped them in the PS2 era as they did in the PS1 era. I have not played much of Enix's SNES stuff, so I can't necessarily argue those points.

Meh, I'd take DQVIII, VP2, Grandia Xtreme, RAD, Radiant Stories and Drakengard 1-2 over Square's PS2 games in a heartbeat. PS1 was closer, but only due to Matsuno. <3

Just different tastes I suppose. The only one that I'd really miss was DQ8, but then it'd still be behind the three FF games released on the consoles (with the KH games falling behind that).

Fair enough, though the only PS2 FF I'd give any time to is FFXII. X-2's better than most give it credit for, X's worse than most pile on credit.
