so esentially they made it like a nintendo d-pad

Actually they implemented a Sega genesis/Saturn dpad. Up/down/left/right raised in a circle. Nintendo Dpad is just up/down/left right.

I picked this up and love it. Its the second best dpad I've used for Street Fighter, after saturn pad ofcourse...

I find this almost unbelievable given console manufacturer's track record with dpads for the past decade, but your word... gives a chance, I'd love to be able to pop rising storm's like on the saturn's dpad and play my game room games without the need to switch over to my arcade stick

Yeah, I neatly opened my controller box since I was pretty sure ill return it and take this back to best buy... but its a keeper.

Even with the Dpad not twisted its much more responsive than the old dpad, but with it twisted down its quite excellent...It almost feels like microsoft spent days doing half circle like movements in all directions as it feels very sensitive and worked in for you out of the box lol

Incredible, then I'm there

I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!

NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't like it, and looking at the poll of the YouTube-video most people seem to think the same way.

The D-pad definitely looks like an improvement, but the original D-pad is so bad that it would be impossible to make it even worse.

What I really don't like is the buttons being gray. I really liked the colored buttons, that was pretty much the only thing I prefered about the 360 gamepad in comparison to the PS3 pad.

I know it's not here yet, but I wouldn't get one. I already have too many 360 controllers.

With my older 360 controller being good enough for most games and my Fight Pad being used for fighting games, I don't really need this one yet.  Tempting, though.

I'd never pick aesthetics over improved functionality when something like button colors are in question...but to each his own I guess.

Why is this in the off-topic forum. lol

I bet you never even tried it. Seems you only come on and bash M$ products all the time. So I will take this as one of the 200 or so posts that you have only really done that.

I failed. I realised that I had put it there after I posted it.

Personally, I don't spend much time looking at my controller while I'm playing... like ever, actually.
