Forums - Gaming - Top 10 games your most hyped up for in 2011!

10.  Journey - thatgamecompany hasn't failed me yet...

9. L.A. Noire - Curious about the tech they're using, plus I trust what Rockstar puts out for the most part.

8. Lego Star Wars III/Lego Pirates Of The Caribbean - Make fun of me if ya want, but these games are insanely fun.  Hopefully a Lego Lord Of The Rings is next.

7. Max Payne 3 - Probably won't come out, but one can hope.

6. Twisted Metal - It's been too long....

5. Mass Effect 3 - Finishing up the 1st one now, already have the 2nd.  Amazing story.

4. Homefront - The fact that the story of this FPS could actually happen makes me want to kick some North Korean ass.

3. Batman: Arkham City - First one was classic, wondering how Gotham will hold up.

2. The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Lifelong Zelda fandom obligations.

1. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - First 2 are classics, excited what they'll do this time and where the story takes Nathan Drake.

Plus, looking forward to all these different collections coming out on PS3: Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Team ICO

I forgot about the team ico collection, that is definitely on the honorable mention list.

6. Mass Effect 3 PC

7. Deux Ex PC

4. Catherine (360) - just looks very interesting

3. Xenoblade (wii) - Yea, just waiting on some localization info

1. The Last Story - If this doesn't come over, I would hurt someone. My favorite genre, by my favorite group of people, and add in the fact that this is a "nintendo" game.

2. Mass Effect 3 - The title and previous games justify this title alone, and this is the conclusion of the trilogy, well until Mass Effect Reach :P comes out.

3. Witcher 2 - After watching the trailer were you have two possibilities, it makes looking forward to it, and for someone that can be completist, it might also piss me off.

5/6. Infamous 2/Uncharted 3 - Honestly speaking I can't decided, which one I want more, both look to be awesome sequel to awesome games. I think the current pattern would go something like this Uncharted 3 > Infamous 2 > Uncharted 2 > Infamous > Uncharted.

7. Dragon Age: Origins - Taking stuff out of Mass Effects book, and adding tactics....sign me up.

8. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - My hyped meter has dropped for this due to lack of information for the past 6 months, nintendo give me something.

9. Pokemon White/Black

10. EVERYTHING ON THE 3DS!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

The Last Guardian*
The Last Story*
Ninokuni (DS)*
Inazuma Eleven
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (PS3)
Child of Eden (PS3)
Journey

Honorable late release mention: Kirby's Epic Yarn (PAL in February)

Lets see here.. There really isn't a lot that catches my interest this year but here are some of the major ones:

1. Gears of War 3  - My favorite series this gen, the online is scary addicting, and it's one of the few games that I actually rock at online. Me and my friends are all gonna pick this game up at launch and have a Gears-a-thon.

2. Elder Scrolls V - My other favorite game this gen. Oblivion and Morrowind were so epic and vast in scale, so I'm excited to see how they can top those games which were already filled with content.

3. Diablo 3 - Love the second one, and Blizzard is one of my favorite developers after Nintendo. Plus online = sweetness.

4.DQX  - Assuming it makes it this year. I've loved the DQ series since I played I & II back on the Gameboy.

5. Pokemon Black and White - It's a new REAL pokemon game.. What more needs to be said?

6. Zelda Skyward Sword - The game looks great and seems to be one of the few that truly uses the motion plus to its full potential along with Red Steel 2.

7. The Last Story - I'm excited to see what the creator of the original Final Fantasy has got. Looks like perhaps the most epic Wii game to date.

8. Paper Mario 3DS - Game looks great, and the use of the 3D effects with the layers of paper should be an interesting effect.

9. Pilot Wings 3DS - Was one of my most wanted games on Wii, but now that's it's coming to 3DS with (probably) use of accelerometers, I can rest easy.

10. Dragon Age II - Loved the first on PC (which is the platform I will play on with Dragon Age II), though it was frusterating as hell.

It seems 2011 is the year of the RPG
