I dont think its likely a game like Soul Calibur would sell that much on the wii. its audience isnt really the right kind. possible for it to get a port though ^^

I dunno, at the very least it'd certainly sell better than it does on PSP.  Honestly, I think a Wii SC with Zelda characters added stands a decent chance of outselling the PS3 or 360 versions too.

...yh....ok XD

Yeah i know my spelling sucks but im dysgraphic so live with it :3

Haha, again with the petitions. Because someone will ban me as soon as he can, I'll add some more content to my post:

These petitions never work.

Link sells.  GC SC2 outsold both SC4 360 and SC4 PS3.   Now imagine if SCBD had been a Wii game, and instead of Kratos added the TP versions of Link, Zelda and Ganon... the game would've sold at least 1.5m imo, maybe even up to 2m.

let's face the truth, we all know SC V wouldn't sell on Wii, it would have less features and worse graphics, but nothing "pro" to make it stand out

not because of the audience, but because, even Namco would focus much more on HD versions than Wii one, would promote HD versions much more (like CoD)

on the other hand, they did a great job with Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on Wii which is an awesome fighter, using motion controls, and they got the sales (almost 1m) which is more than the not-so-good Raging Blast on the HD consoles for example

they can do it again, with SC, only if they try

Motion Plus would be awesome instead of buttons

That might mean a specially made game would be better. And not have it a Golden Axe ripoff again. I mean a fighting game tailor made for the Motion Plus. It should focus on precision instead of speed, both to avoid repetative motion injuries, and because it would help avoid the flailing that just replaced button mashing.

Wow, and I didn't even know that Soul Calibur 5 got announced. Yay!

i agree with this

for example, moving the controller horizontal is like pressing triangle on PS3 controller, moving faster is like pressing the button faster, which in most cases would make any difference

DragonBall 3 for Wii works in a similar way, and the result is great as well as the sales

If you want a game bad enough buy the console it is on.

I don't particularly want a 3DS, but it has two exclusive Resident Evil games so I will be buying one.

You are a huge Jill fan. If Capcom made an exclusive RE game for Jaguar CD starring Jill, you'd probably buy it.

Except the sales of the HD systems show people aren't following that dictim, at least not in the amount Wii hating developers want.

EDIT: And before anyone brings up combined sales, I would bring up not only that this goes out the window when comparing the 360 and the PS3, but also how few combined HD games sell compared to the single console hits of past generations (which includes the PS1 and PS2), or even some of the Wii, DS, and Gameboy hits.

Yeah, they whine for a port to their console, hence my suggestion.  If they would devote whone time to work time instead they could probably make the money for every console this gen in a couple weeks.

What if it's not about getting the games or the systems? Ever thought it might be just wanting the Wii to have the games, since we know it can sell them (TvC sold far better than many of the other niche Capcom fighting games, and the sales of the Street Fighter games on the VC)?
