Forums - Gaming - To many games,so little time.

Yeah, it's been like that for most of the year, but even worse now that Christmas has passed. I still haven't started Epic Mickey, Fallout New Vegas, DQIX, Left 4 Dead, and Sin and Punishment 2. Plus I still haven't beat Red Steel 2, Monster Hunter Tri, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Assassin's Creed 2, and probably some others that I'm forgetting. I think all the Minecraft playing took up time I would have used to play these other games. I did just beat Donkey Kong Country Returns, though still a lot to do in that game as well with the secret stages and puzzle pieces and whatnot.

On the plus side, at least I won't have to buy any more games for awhile :/

I just bought about 30 games DLC/expansions on Steam during this winter steam sale. I'm still not done with games I bought during the summer steam sale, so I understand completely.

Granted, I tend to get really into 1 game and then play other games on the side. Right now, I'm big on Guild Wars so I put about 80% of my gaming time into that game. Once I'm done with what I want to do in that game, I'll plow through everything else I have.

Too many good games.

I'm currently playing the Sly Cooper collection, Super mario galaxy 2, Need for speed hot pursuit, GT5, Assasins creed Brotherhood, and Echochrome ii. I still haven't finished 3D dot game heroes and DKCR.

I have yet to play the Tropico absolute power expansion and GRID I bought on steam and I'm trying to resist getting Minecraft after playing the classic version.

And LBP 2 is coming in just a few weeks, followed soon after by Dead space 2.

I skipped Epic Mickey, Kirby's epic yarn and Fable 3 for now. Games I would have gotten if they came out at a less crowded time.

GT5 is the biggest time sink atm, almost lvl 21, just the last stage for NASCAR and AMG driving academy left under special stages. I'm getting into the really fast cars now, 1178hp Bugatti Veyron. Driving 350 kph feels a lot faster then in Need for speed hot pursuit.

@OP

If you REALLY wanted to play aaaaalll those games then you would have played Gears2 aaaageeees ago.

You have to learn to be more picky (as some have suggested).

What you are describing only happens to me when I buy games that aren't totally awesome

:P

This happened to me a couple of months ago but I took advantage of Sundays and played games everyday for at least 1 hour.

Was pretty difficult though. Had to sacrifice a bit of sleep lol :)

I had to complete Demon's Souls, God of war Collection, Assassins Creed 2, Atelier Rorona, Dead Space and I did it.

Felt real awesome.

*stunned*

you completed Demon's Souls!?

Yeah but only 1 playthrough. That's the only game that took a bit of time other than Atelier Rorona.

My backlog currently goes back to the N64. So many unfinished games. And since I just got a Dreamcast, well I added a bunch of new games to my backlog because of it.

My problem is the Steam sale. Over the last couple of weeks, I've bought Half Life 2, CS Source, both Mass Effects, World in Conflict, Company of Heroes, Command and Conquer 3, and some retarded game called AAAaaaaAAAA: A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, because they were all so damned cheap!

I have this same problem with games.  Right now I am rocking Red Dead, NHL11 and ModNation Racing and only really have the attention span to play one game for maybe an hour.  Of course it isn't to bad since I am a casual gamer and no other games out right now are in any way appealing to me.

I have had that problem after I installed Steam.
