Talking about console's sales... Do you think that the PS3 being recently fully hacked is going to hurt or help sales?

this is my two cents, it will help in console sales but hurt in game sales but not substantially enough to matter I think.

It will help sales a lot.

Hacker/Modders that previously had little interest in PS3 will now see it as a good device.

And as we've seen with 360 and Wii games, modding doesnt exactly hurt game sales. If anything I think it just helps spread hype and word of mouth for most games.

Won't matter that much, it hasn't hurt the Wii or the 360 that bad (seemingly) nor did it hurt the Playstation very much at all. There is no reason to think that the PS3 will be more seriously affected by this than the competition.

i dont think it will hurt sales that much. If anything it helps sales.

my predictions is that ps3 will outsell xbox this year due to the crazy amounts of ps3 exclusives comming in 2011

I think I'll do my part and buy my second PS3 soon.  I've bought 2 Wiis (white and black) and 3 360's (Pro, Elite, S), so it's only fair.

I'll be a slim owner by the end of the month I'm sure!
