Titanic, easily, not because it's my favourite movie ever or such, i jut don't like Avatar that much, way too overrated in my opinion.

I vote Titanic, just because its based off the true story of one of the survivors. It is truly a historical movie.

avatar as its my favorite movie of all time, i own every version of the movie on dvd and blu-ray, own all the versions of the game too. cant wait for 2014 and 2015 for a return to pandora.  :)

I really didn't expect so many votes for Titanic, not because Titanic is bad, to the contrary I like it very much but I felt given the demographic of this site Avatar would be the favourite by a huge majority.

Do you have the Avatar pijamas too? Did you dress as a Na'vi for Halloween? Can you speak Na'vi?

Titanic was much better than any movie for the actors, the history (a real one), the efects (very good at least for a 1997 movie), the romantic trama, the sountrack (My god! there's any movie with a better one?), the dialogs and a lot of things... 

There are movies with better dialogues than Titanic all the way back to the 70's. Romantic drama, there's been better than Titanic. Dicaprio and Winslet acted well but have done better in movies later. The soundtrack is unmatched, I agree.

Jesus, this is like asking would you rather get kicked in balls or punched in the face.  Neither one is really a good option.

If i had to choose...Titanic over Avatar. Avatar was overrated in my opinion.
