I graduated high school, and I'm currently in college. I still have yet to see understand why people drink, other than sheer stupidity, and social pressure.

It loosens me up at parties. However, I never drink t the point where I can't walk back to my apartment.

You drink to do stupid shit you wouldn't otherwise if you were sober. Last time that happened I played twister with 3 girls, good times.

You apparently have a higher moral ground than me, becaue I usually call them preys.

To each his own. I have many friends who don't drink, and we're as cool together as ever. 

For those of us who do drink, or at least those like myself, we'll drink at parties or small get togethers to loosen up and come outside of our little personal bubbles. We don't *need* to drink to be social, it's just an...instigator of socialization most of the time. Now, sometimes we'll say "hey I'm getting blackout tonight", and that is just for sheer stupidity, I admit, but most of the time, when we drink it's by choice, not by pressure. Not every time I go to a party, I think to myself "I need to drink", but by the same token, it does add to the fun. 

Now people like my last roommate...I don't know why they drink. This guy would drink all the time for no reason. He could just get done running a marathon, and could be completely parched, and instead of getting water, he'd grab a beer. He drank when he studied for finals a couple weeks ago. Those are the kinds that will grow into problem drinkers later in life.

But regards to myself and my particular circle of friends, we don't drink because we're pressured into it. We're adults and can make our own decision. We just *want* to be in that state of mind. You wouldn't go to a bar and just drink water, would you?

I prefer drinking Kratom, its some awesome stuff. The phisical effects are similar to alcool mixed with opiate like effect. Beside, if you want to quit alcool addiction, it did miracle to a friend of mine. Personally, after 4 years of taking it daily, no side effect with Kratom beside a small physical addiction. Mentally, it helps to support long day of work by reducing stress and speeding your mental capacity. Its legal in most countries, very great stuff indeed.

Drinking a cup of this tea before playing game, is the summom of any epicurian lol.
