The gameplay isn't like the Final Fantasy franchise, though.

It seems like it's very action-oriented.

I personally prefer turn-based but I guess this will do.

I cursed at Square Enix for not making a co-op mode in FFXIII. It would have fit perfectly!

So I'm really glad to see an online mode in The Last Story.

Combat looks really excellent. Squad based and tactical may be just the direction JRPGs need to head.

Nice environments, customization (lol, naked party!) and the online even looks fun.
