I dunno. I had personally no expectations but it seems to respect what we've heard of the game so far.

It seems like a pretty polished game which is pretty rare in JRPGs this gen. That alone makes it interesting.

What makes up a great RPG in your eyes? I saw a fun an interesting looking battle system, good interactivity and a good mix between gameplay and cutscenes, good music, nice graphics, and a nice looking town. WE haven't seen much of the story.

Also the conference isn't over it seems...

So,  a good battle system, a mix of gameplay and cutscnes, good graphics, and towns and a great story. I see.

Eh, i haven't been checking the stream, just looking for juicy tidbits (and holding out the fool's hope of localization confirmation)

 

But i definitely like what i see. They've got all the fundamentals down square and yet have a depth of silliness and random tweaking. This is a top-tier effort, here.

I had no expectation, there was hype for this, I wanted to see what it was all about.
