Forums - Gaming - So what do you want in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

I would like crossbows and spears to make a comeback, and an online functionality, even if it's just a dueling section.

I also would like to be able to invest in stores, and start families, like in Fable.

What do you want?

______________

Not really on topic, but the next game informer will have a cover story on it. Can't wait!

I'd like it if we could own a town and buy stuff to improve it (a bit like in Assassin's Creed II).

Among other things that is.

I want it to have as huge world as possible and the game to be as complex as possible.

Yeah, I thought that was cool too. I really felt like you were shaping the city.

Similar to Morrowind would make me really happy, there was some magic in Morrowind, Oblivion was pretty mediocre.

You haven't been here for long and I can already tell you have bad video game tastes :P

Or to be ethically correct I should say that you have a very different opinion than mine.

I want a better inventory/status/quest menu.

I played roughly 100 hours Oblivion and 150 hours Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined and I still press wrong buttons all the time. The menu is as complex as the game.

Every dungeon to have a unque design and enemies that don't scale based on your level.

  • most bugs squashed
  • great mod support
  • non-scaling world (enemies, loot, and such)
  • choices with actual consequences, choices beyond character development
  • more diverse magic system

Diplomatic, not ethically correct. I wouldn't call it bad taste, I just prefer a sequel to not take more steps back than forward and for it not to have quite possibly the worst story in a Western RPG ever.
