Wow, you'd think that the PS3 fans would stop crying "UNDERTRACKEDDDDAZZZZ!" every thread after last month's NPD, >.>.

Seriously, you guys are getting annoying now.

PS3 fans? I see one PS3 fan saying it now with half the thread against him. Way to generalize. Besides, PS3 fans aren't the only ones talking about undertracking, which you can see in this very thread. What do you have against fans of other consoles anyway?

Yeah the whole craze in general is getting annoying, especially when you think about the big picture which is that it's putting down our sites numbers... there's little reasoning for any "undertracked!!!" claims other than hopeful thoughts that some console of choice is going to look better than it is right now.

Also I want to know how these people remember when something is adjusted... do people keep calendars on this?  It blows my mind.

Wow, never thought about that, :O... And here I thought I had no life, xD.
EDIT - psrock, it's been all of two weeks that NPD was released. I really don't think thez deserve any credit for keeping calm for this short a while. Not to say that they're the only ones though, :P.

Now you are just making Maxwell look bad.

I just check the threads about sales in the period... there are all log of previous sales... eg. for the 2008 sales in 2008 I checked the first week of january locking for titles about the subject... so the second one had what I want.

And I found more... a doc with all 2008 weeks sales in 06th Jan 2009.

Oh, come on, PS3 fans in general on this site do talk about undertracking more than Nintendo/MS fans, though it's not as if the latter are angels either and I'm not trying to portray them as such.
Oh, and, in general, I'm a fanboy so I will be pointing out other's flaws, :P. Honestly, though, I don't just criticize them for nothing and I don't believe that any of my criticism is truly unfair.

Nice GT PSP numbers xD

Actually, looking through the thread again, I agree that 360 being undertracked is being said more often, though I'm just kinda annoyed that some of you are still complaining about the console being undertracked when it was substantially overtracked as of recently. I should be criticizing MS fans more though, sorry, I guess, :P.

What?!And here I thought geniuses think alike.Guess you're not that smart after all...Lol,just messing with you mate :P.I expect the 360 to be adjusted up in EMEAA actually, but not by much.PS3 should stay the same...

Like always .. people never learn.

and your reasoning?

Read his post history and you'd know.

The simple fact is that last year the PS3 got big adjustments because the slim PS3 and pricecut were hard to track.  In 2008 the 360 got big adjustments as it's price cut was also hard to track through the holiday season.  This year it's blatantly obvious the console that is most likely to have been mistracked is the 360 with it's slim revision and heavy bundling of Kinect.

January/February is going to be hilarious next year.

No because PS3 had huge adjustments since 2007... so the next year the will be happen.

I know... I said this every year... and every I won the bet until now.

So next year I will lose? I don't think so.

What do you call huge?

It seems that these huge adjustments and massive outselling by the PS3 over 360 have only closed the gap by 1.4 million in 5 years.

I think it's more like 4 years and less than 4 years in EMEAA...

Correct. 5 years gets thrown around a lot, yet PS3 released in mid-November 2006 in US and JPN and March 2007 in EU.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I like how people argue about adjustments like before the actual adjustments..

I got my eyes locked on GT5, DK, adn epic mickey :) Great sales for these :D

EMEAA charts are boring. I want to see Americas.

People should just stop with the undertracking/overtracking from both sides...

Seriously.
