no, they shouldn't and won't. nintendo is all about arcady, fun and easily accessible games. simulations are boring to most people... especially casuals. a more meaty single player mode in the next mario kart wouldn't hurt, though.

If they make a Nintendo Racing Simulator, I would not have to buy a PlayStation every generation. And the same goes to my friends.

God, I want a new entry in this franchise.  Why isn't anybody doing jet ski racing anymore?  I have to settle for the water stage of Uncharted?

Nope. Look at Mario Kart sales. Thats the only racer they need. If you look at this week's EU sales GT is hardly outselling Mario Kart, and Mario Kart has been on the market for a damn long time.
