Wii>360>>>>>>PS3

Thats my prediction for the next 2 weeks in the US.

I disagree. Wii>360>>>>>PS3 in the US.  In EMEAA, Wii>PS3>>360. In Japan, Wii=PS3(with maybe a slight edge for the wii)>>>>>>>360. Overall, Wii>360>PS3, at least for this holiday season. As for 2011 Wii>360=PS3(with possibly a slight edge for the 360). At least, when talking about quality games coming out next year, PS3>>>>>>>360=Wii imo, although it is way too early to predict that, seeing as Microsoft and Nintendo probably have aces up their sleeves, and I could see some games being delayed into 2012 for the ps3.

You disagree with his post because he typed six of these (>) for the gap between the 360 and PS3 and you think it will only be five? Talk about being pedantic.

Just being realistic. I mean SIX greater thans?!?!  Talk about being optimistic. :P

Then we have something like :

Wii >>>>>>> PS3 <<<<<< X360

Right or...

Exactly. Even in the Americas, only a fool would predict the 360 having SIX  greater than signs over the PS3. I mean seriously, I h8 it when people underestimate the ps3, and overestimate its competition./s

Btw how many copies per than signs? x)

And if we put 5 than then Wii will have 6 because

Wii >>>>>> PS3 <<<<< X360

which equals to

Wii > X360 >>>>> PS3

we can even have some inversion

PS3 <<<<< X360 < Wii

that world is awsume

153 consoles per sign. I just assumed everybody knew that. I like the last way of writing it the best, because when I looked at it, for a split second, I thought the ps3 was ahead.

153 x 6, low bailing it :p, the gap will still likely be >100k so each > should be about 20-30k :P

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

i don't shop at walmart but i do shop at Target and to my surprise Target was matching the $100 gift card deal that walmart for saturday/sunday only.  the display for ps3's would have held 60 units and there were about 10 left so i'd assume my Target sold 50 ps3s, maybe more if they was any restocking.

as near as i could tell they didn't have any 360's in stock.  i went to best buy as well and they had huge (and i mean ball park of 300-400) piles of ps3s and wiis but only about 10 360s left.  so unless MS is managing an extremely constant stream of systems my anecdotal evidence suggests 360's supply is very low.

between the ps3 gift card bump and the low 360 supply, i wouldn't be surprised to see ps3 over 360 in the numbers for this week.

Do people in this thread realize that Walmart had a $75 gift card for the 250GB 360 without Kinect for all week last week?  It was advertised in the Sunday circular stuffed in all the newspapers on Dec 12th.  As far as I know the PS3 and Wii gift card deals were not advertised in the circulars that are stuffed into newspapers and online.

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I have to pipe in on this one as well.  The 360 had the same deal and it was advertise like crazy on the radio station I listen to.  This is the time of year when these deals come out.  last year it was 50$ gift cards.  I doubt anything will change between the PS3 and 360 within NA.  Sony will see higher sales and so will the 360 and Wii.
