Well, the boost in NA will give us an idea of how well the PS3 will do when it drops in its price to $199, so can't wait for the numbers.

I am guessing Sony did over-ship this time around. But they will be able to clear it all as well.

Will the Wal - Mart deals show in this weeks data ? Or next ? Although I think the PS3 could be in the 450,000 - 550,000 range for that week.

The PS3 should be slightly above the 360 WW when the numbers come in.

I am more interested in the boost GT5 gets because of the PS3 deal.Hopefully the sales will still be in the 700k range.

should be in this weeks cause it was 17th- 19th so 17th-18th should be in there also amazon 100 off was on 17th too

so all those in are current NA thread saying that ps3 would be down in NA need to get it right

Friday night through Saturday night will be in this weeks data.  Sunday will be in next weeks data.  So this is basically one 24 hour period. I dont think that 1 day at 1 retailer will double PS3 sales of the previous week.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

walmart ps3 bundle has uncharted 2 included right? if so should be a crazy week for u2 sales, and next week as well

I don't know, going down 25% YoY in spite of releasing a new major peripheral would cause me lots of concern.  It's better than '07/'08, but Sony can't be thrilled, especially since this time of year accounts for the lion's share of sales.

A lack of holiday anything hurt Sony in America. We aren't exactly racing games fans or buy the most expensive system in a holiday time where both alternatives can be/are 100 dollars cheaper.
