I suppose that would make sense, although I'm inclined to disregard that last factor, since this is a licensed game.  I can't speak to the first two, either...

Looks like it is on track to selling about what I expected, which is 3-4 million. I think it'll get the lower end of that prediction, but still not bad.. I mean, a disney supported game with Mickey in it, how could people expect this game to bomb?

I must say I find it very funny how some people immediately called it a flop after the first week... Ouch @ them.

Epic Mickey is not a good game in my opinion. I just couldn't get into it.  I wouldn't care if it flopped.

Excellent! This game looks, well epic, for a lack of better words.

Gamer.no and Gamereactor here in Norway claimed in their review that this is the best non-Nintendo game on the Wii. I haven't played it myself yet but I've watched all the videos available and I can only say that they appear to be right!

Hope it keeps on selling well throughout 2011!

Disney and Spector know now for sure that they have picked the right console:

1) Platformers sells better on Wii (just look at Sonic)

2) The FPS casual crowd of the 360 would not even have look at a Mickey game

3) Wii games are the only one who can sell big on the holidays and still have legs after.
