Actually, the first day and last day are normally the longest, and I reckon that you'd miss the entire game if you were completely away for 15days. 5 days in-game at the very least, surely?

Your boundless optimism warms my cold, dead heart.

I'll be gone again shortly

I will read what I missed (two pages or so) more thoroughly when I come back in my more permanent stay.

But anyways, vote: Scottie (I'm not sure if I voted already)

He's defensive attitude is typical of a newbie scum. He's definitely online for the thread, but he only pops up when attention is on himself.

This gives the assumption that he was trying to keep a low profile. His vote on SAk, like FF already pointed out, is even more scummy, 'cause it's just an attempt to shift the new found attention off of himself.

SAk, has also done this a bit. I mean, so far his biggest contribution has been defending himself, and before that he was basically non-existent for a while. Scottie is more at fault of this, though, because he's done it twice. My vote feels more comfortable on him.

BTW, Scottie is at L-2 now. I suggest to slow down on the voting if y'all want the discussion to last more (if it even needs it)

OK, guys, I have a problem and it's my fault, I go to the beach on the 30th for around 15 days, I thought I'd have internet and even though I'd post less I'd still be able to play fine, but I won't have internet there so that means I can't play at all. I know that given the lack of pace of this game I won't miss much, maybe an entire day and a half, but I apologize in advance for it,

And no, I don't want a modkill

That is optomistic.

Consider we've been on day two for weeks now. Normal-paced mafia days usually last one or two weeks.

Another reason, I admit, that I'm more suspicious of scottie is that SAK has always acted this half-ass-y in the mafia games.

Although, the last game I remember where SAK actively-lurked was the game where we were both mafia. hrmph >_>

Vote: SAK

Was there anything in-particular that you thought was scummy about SAK? In the case that you get lynched tonight, it'd be interesting to see what your opinion on the events are.

Nothing original, so I'm afraid I can't really help the town out with my dying breath. The arguments others leveled against him were fairly convincing and the others were weak.

I'm not even going to defend myself here because I know which way the wind is blowing.

When I am revealed to be town, please remember that the thing I committed to most in this game was that NeN is not scum. The arguments against him were rubbish, to be perfectly frank. This is also aimed at the person that gets to protect someone overnight.

you know, I have to say something...

I was trying to get a better read on who was who, and I remembered in one game that I pursued vetteman because I noticed that he had never mentioned 4 other people, and those 4 other people had never mentioned each other.

I thought that something similar could be happening this game so I looked through each individual suspect's post to see who they had and who they hadn't mentioned. .I didn't find any connection after looking at trucks and stefl. (trucks never makes a post directed at j0,sak,nord,mg,dtewi; and stefl never makes one to hat or nen; although they do make 4 posts to each other, 3 of which are comments on ninja'ing each other). So, the lead seemed too dry to do anything.

Instead, I noticed a related line of non-relationships.

None of my suspects had voted for the same person, and on day 1, two of those suspects were the last two votes on the no lynch.

Then, when SaK was at L-4 and you were at L-6, I was thinking to myself..."if I move my vote to scottie, they'll be even L, and at tipping point no less"

(tipping point refers to the vote that is changes a lynch to likely. Like linkz said earlier, "when we find someone, we should stick with them and follow through". Although not exact context, this tipping point psychologically refers to the point when the bandwagon hits critical mass. Scum are therefore drawn to the tipping point in order to secure the final votes from unsure townies.)

The first vote to swing the tipping point.....was your vote.... on SaK.

I immediately thought, "shit", scottie went and blew the whole thing. All that time strategizing goes simply down the drain.

But then, Truck unvoted. He's one of my suspects, so I was really really interested to see who he was going to vote. Caution got the best of him and he never voted.

But then! HATMOZA! He evened it up again. I thought, "brilliant!", although still unsure as to what reason he evened the vote out, and made me question his alignment, but it didn't matter, it was even again!

FF unvoted SaK and voted Scottie. It could mean something. That was a pretty big move. But again, I'm unsure.

Me and the fam went out for BBQ and I was thinking to myself that I would just come back and tell everyone what I had done and see if anyone else could figure out what was going on because right here I had implications from scottie and FF with a possibility on hatmoza.

Scottie had lurking against him, and FF had that whole run in with Heph against him, and hat just hasn't been crazy enough. Not to mention that FF and Hat basically voted for scottie for reasons that I had already leveled against him.

So, I come back online and what do I find. 5 posts.

3 from j0, another of my suspects, and he's voted for scottie for reasons previously mentioned. Additionally, he cautions to slow down the voting to continue discussion.

THe final post is from scottie....such a sad sad post. And not because of the tone, but because of the content and the horrible mistake you made.

"When I am revealed to be town, please remember that the thing I committed to most in this game was that NeN is not scum. The arguments against him were rubbish, to be perfectly frank. This is also aimed at the person that gets to protect someone overnight."

This post.....this post is the scummiest post I have ever read from a dying player. This is even worse than what radish was doing last game.

I am so, so, so so deeply sorry if you turn out to be town... but the fact that you tried to

a) save your own skin by voting SaK
b) lurk
c) influence the actions of the doctor with your dying breath
d) even mention another player's name as if your flip made one lick of difference

you really HAVE to die. *shrugs* sorry

Now that that is out of the way, please people figure out what is going on. Are mafia jumping on scottie to make themselves look better? What can you make of it?

Oh, in the first part of the above post where I talk about vette. It turned out that vette was the only one that was town. All four others were mafia.

you might as well just confess now, scottie. Your death is assured.

Give your thanks for playing, and go out with a bit of class.
