Forums - Sony - Gran Turismo 5 Standard Cars to be Upgraded to Premium

HOHOHO That's GT5 2010 GOTY.

Around the Network

I kind of expected this to be honest, especially after all the grief people are having when they found out that only Premium cars had cockpit view and high res models.

I'm also hoping for patches or downloadable content with more cars, more tuning parts and perhaps new tracks!

Nice!!! finally GT5 is starting to become more of what it should have been at release im happy for that.

I wonder if this means they'll be using the premium cars for GT6. Otherwise it seems like a bit of a waste to upgrade them now rather than work on GT6.

But good news still.

They will use... maybe they won't add many new cars... just the ones produced in this years.

Probably the best courses created by users will be used... and some new modes and refinement.

Imagine DLC with tuning kits that allow more power, new tyre sets, brakes (why are there no brake upgrades anyway?), superchargers, suspension, styling kits etc! The possibilities are endless!

They are indeed. At the rate KY and his team is supporting the game, chances are somewhere down the road they'll add those options.

What's very interesting is that every single patch and issues that KY is addressing are pretty much the things pointed out in gtplanet since the game was released. It's nice to see developers in touch with the community.
