Forums - Sony - Tales of Xillia for PS3 Announced

We're okay with subtitles right everybody? It could be so simple.

Around the Network

Another Tales game that gamers outside of Japan won't see. I wouldn't get your hopes up guys.

The main character's design looks douche-y but I love the girl's design. Surprised at Inomata designs. No Fujishima? This is a Team Symphonia game.

Edit: Wait, MC is designed by Fujishima, female designed by Inomata. WTF?

No Soriku, they are both the main character. In this Tales game, both characters have their own storyline.

One pic shows they're both meeting/talking to each other. I don't think they have separate stoyrylines, just different perspectives depending on who you choose although they're both in your party.

@Boutros

As favorable as that would be (I'd prefer Eng VAs though), Namco will never do that.

It was stated in Jump.

Refuse to get excited until localisation is either hinted at or confirmed.

You can import it.

I haven't read about two different storylines...why would there be two different storylines anyway.

Both characters are seen fighting together in the trailer. Like I said, it's probably just two different perspectives...

If your not going to believe me, why don't you go ahead and ask Duckroll.

I went through the thread again and duckroll says nothing. Besides, there's no reason whatsoever to have two different stories.

You would be correct Soriku:

As those who have been following the news already know, Tales of Xillia features two main characters, a male named Jude and a female named Mira. Players will choose one of the characters at the start of the game, and the story will continue on from their point of view. The characteristic genre name for the title is RPG of Unwavering Convictions

Uh, that's pretty much what I said. I said you choose one and the story is from their point of view. It's still the same story though. And they're both in the story as party members no matter who you choose. Different POV=/=different story.

That's what I meant the whole time.

That guy from the cover reminds me of Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass
