Must need a little more time to work out the agreements with the MS before it's formally announced for the 360. I'm guessing that's the main purpose of the conference is to announce the game for the 360.

Don't be silly, they just needed Horii to clear his schedule so he could be on-hand to announce that DQ X is going HD.
