I think Kratos' Model is the best Character Model ever made in Video Games. Especially at the parts when you zoom right into him you see all the details. It's jaw dropping.

There's a few rare occasions ingame where the cam is zoomed pretty close on Kratos, and the game looks insane during those moments...

Japanese games within the same genre are worse. Thank goodness western devs took note and fixed the cam at least a bit. GOW 3's cam was great. I think it zoomed in on Kratos for dramatic effect though.

God of War 3 deserved the best graphics there wasn't much competition to be honest...although Mass effect 2 looked amazing I think it didn't really get nominated, did it?

I don't get why people go nuts about God of War's 3 graphics? Artistically good, but technically... not that great. Also it was was very uneven. Eg the opening segment looked great, but that labyrinth section looked very average. Oh well.

Haven't played any of the other nominations so I can't judge if it was the pick of the lot though.
