Nier, Nier and once again, NIER. This game's soundtrack is easily the best of 2010 and quite possibly the best this generation.

If this game's soundtrack doesn't win OST of the year I will further my belief that gaming journalism today is full of morons.

This game is VERY underrated.

Also worth mentioning is that Joystiq's reviewers suck. Fishing was very very easy.

Stupid idiot in the Joystiq video was fishing in the wrong spot to try and catch a Shaman Fish. So my advice to him is, follow the red "X" next time you moron.

Man, i remember that review actually. iirc, one of the few games Joystiq refused to give an actual score to. But i've tended to fall out of favor with the Joystiq crowd in the past few years (though i'm still the number one all-time poster there), so i won't defend their mistakes

But on topic: not in a year with both Galaxy 2 and Epic Mickey (ME2's supposed to be pretty good from what i recall)

I highly doubt "journalists" even remember this game. And I doubt they'll give it the awards it deserves.

And yeah, it's very underrated... I think it should have sold Final Fantasy XIII numbers.... but it probably never will T_T

EDIT: I see you're playing the game... let me give you an advice: When you get the first ending and save your clear data, when you load it you'll think the cutscenes are the same... but they're not! so... I advice you to watch ALL CUTSCENES when you go for the second ending... you can skip them if you want ONLY WHEN YOU GO FOR THE 3RD AND 4TH ENDING... except for the ending of course xD

Either Mass Efft 2 or Fable 3 wins it for me. But keep in mind I haven't played that many new releases this year. Alan Wake seems like it would be a good choice, from what I've heard. God of War 3 probably doesn't disappoint either.
