Arguably the two best PS3 exclusives are following similar sales trends.

60 weeks after U2 released. Sales are at 4.14mil

60 weeks after MGS4 released. Sales were at 4.12mil.

Uncharted 2 is tracking above MGS4 by 20k. Sales for U2 are still strong to this day. Of course bundles helped, but MGS4 was also bundled with Killzone 2.

MGS4 just recently crossed 5mil after 128 weeks. Can U2 get there in less than 128 weeks? faster than MGs4.

128 weeks after U2 release would be Apr 2012 and I think U2 will be well above 5mil by then. I think U2 will reach 5mil in 105 - 125 weeks after released, faster than MGS4.

I never expected Uncharted to become bigger than Metal Gear Solid. I wonder how big it becomes with Uncharted 3. If  #3 gets splitscreen, then I don't know how big it'll grow.

When you look at the 2 openings for the games, Uncharted 2 is doing even better.

MGS 4 opened up to 1,772,489 units, and after 10 Weeks had sold 3.2 Million units WW. It released EARLY in the Year.

Uncharted 2 opened up to 850,023 units, and after 10 Weeks had sold 2.3 Million units WW. It released in the Holiday season.

Goes to show how the legs of Uncharted have helped out quite a bit! After 10 Weeks MGS4 had a 900k lead!! A year later, we have Uncharted 2 out in front. Amazing!

I have a feeling Uncharted 2 is having MUCH better legs. Haven't checked the facts (numbers) though.
