So I can have games that aren't on the console I choose?  I'll just choose the games regardless of console because I think that's what you are saying.

I can play these games over and over and not get bored.

I need a good racing game that me and my buddies (wife included) can play.

-Goldeneye: Wii
4-player split screen with pointer controls.  I'm in!

-Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: PC
What can I say, I love that game.  Also, maybe by that time I'll learn how to beat the computer on Brutal difficulty on all skirmish maps.

-Sim City 4: PC
I know it's old, but I've never actually filled the entire world map or reached over 10 million inhabitants.  With customized environments, I could play forever.

I can't believe I left Mario and Zelda off this list.  I feel sad now.

If I'm stuck with 3 people, and we don't have internet, then it's all about 4 player local multiplayer games.  Easy.

Wii:

Mario Kart Wii - for the 4 player local racing.
GoldenEye 007 - for the 4 player local shooting.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - for the 4 player local platforming.
Rock Band 3 - for the 4 player local music, with piano, drum, and guitar lessons.
Wii Sports Resort - for the 4 player tennis, golf, bowling, frisbee dog, and staying in shape.

It's just too bad I don't have room for Smash Bros. Brawl or BIT.TRIP BEAT.  Those games are great for 4 players. 

If I were alone, it would be all about a PC with some games that last forever, like Minecraft, Civ 5, The Orange Box (if that's cheating I'd just take Portal), StarCraft 2, and hm.... not sure... maybe Ancient Domains of Mystery.  I played it on and off for a decade and never beat it.  If I was alone on the moon... I'd destroy that game.

I'd take my PS3, along with Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, LittleBigPlanet, Warhawk, inFamous, and Assassin's Creed 2. If we count games that may or may not exist, give me Star Wars Battlefront 3.

Super Smash Bros Melee (Easily the most important game if I'm with friends)

Gran turismo 5 (would typically be Mario Kart, but for the rest of my life? dun tihnk so)

Super Mario Bros 3 (I'll never get tired of this)
