It's actually lower then what I predicted. I'm right on target for end of year sales though. Damn, I need to become a game industry analyst. I'll take Patcher's job. He doesn't have clue.

For the people who said the Wii was going to have terrible holiday sales,  "LMAO!!"

It sold almost twice what the PS3 sold this week alone. So no, I don't think the PS3 will be catching the Wii or XBox 360 anytime soon. The Xbox 360 is already on it's way to refilling the gap the PS3 slim took last year. Kinect is a huge success and will probably reach it's 5 million sales mark by the end of the year.

On a side note, I think DKCR will have some nice legs over the next few months.

Its at 3.47 million !!! With next week's numbers, it'll cross 3.5 million and outsell God of War II. I am genuinely happy for the franchise, and I think God of War III is the best God of War game, but to outsell God of War II in such a short time doesn't feel right...it was one of the best fucking PS2 games ever made, and I prefer the story in it more than III.

And if it keeps at this rate, its gonna outsell God of War 1 at the end of the year.

Wii came close to outselling the HD twins combined WW... that's pretty impressive, considering that MS and Sony both thought they'd steal the "casual gamer" crowd from Nintendo with Kinect and Move.

Actually, great numbers all around! That's so nice to see, the PS3 is barely down after the price cut last year.

I know I was expecting more in the america's I Think it's under tracked

Nice! God of War III deserves all the sales possible, one of my favorite ps3 game. I wonder if GoW Collection is actually expanding the userbase for GoW III or if it's just people buying Gow I and II again.

Well not many said that the PS3 or X360 will outsell the Wii,but the Wii is down a lot YoY,while the PS3 and X360 are on par and up YOY,respectively.

I think Sony were extremely smart with releasing the collection..it probably did expand the fanbase.

Very disappointing Wii sales, honestly. It was undertracked last month though, so that may be the case this month as well.

Only thing making it better is Wii at top and having great market share.
