It's actually lower then what I predicted. I'm right on target for end of year sales though. Damn, I need to become a game industry analyst. I'll take Patcher's job. He doesn't have clue.
For the people who said the Wii was going to have terrible holiday sales, "LMAO!!"
It sold almost twice what the PS3 sold this week alone. So no, I don't think the PS3 will be catching the Wii or XBox 360 anytime soon. The Xbox 360 is already on it's way to refilling the gap the PS3 slim took last year. Kinect is a huge success and will probably reach it's 5 million sales mark by the end of the year.
On a side note, I think DKCR will have some nice legs over the next few months.
