It appears that the PC is the only platform ever to be more often and more severely d0med than the Wii.

OT: I love PC gaming and have for quite a few years since I got my first proper PC. I own a PS3 this gen but hardly ever use it despite having around 20 games for it and I haven't finished more than 2-3 of them to be honest. Console gaming just isn't as fun as it was before for me, the games are getting simpler and simpler and nearly all PC counterparts and multiplats seem technically superior as well as a lot better in gameplay.

PC gaming was awesome until ~2003 or 2004 and has been in decline since then. 1998 alone was better for PC gamers than the whole timespan between 2005 and 2010.

OP: man wtf have u done... why bought the highest end video card, thats the worst mistake you could have done... u should have bought a video card half of the price and in 3 years buy another for that half of the price and u would have endeed with a better set up for a longer time... and its not like changing all the computer its just the video card, dont be lazy and think! so much money wasted makes me sad 8(

on the topic mmm i have always been a pc gamer, owned consoles to, but i am starting to play less and less pc games, as they have been going down and down on quality for me, all of them are getting really simplified (except RTS) to the point that you just rather prefer to play them on consoles and forget about continuous problems that u will encounter on pc, and having to format the pc after sometime etc... ram upgrades, video card upgrades.. it just gets a little anoying all because of bad ports that require 3x the power of the consoles (not right now, but that was the truth 2 years ago or maybe less), and some games that arent even released on pc. All of this has make my love for pc die 8( (Still PLAY!! but less and less)

I disagree. Personally I'd say it's evolving. A lot of games aimed at the people that frequent these forums (core gamers) have mostly gone multiplat and are heavily played on consoles now, but smaller indie games, browser based games (both casual and core) and MMO style games are growing and succeeding on PC.

Expeshaly since Steam has realy been pushing idnie games in reasont months. id never realised how inventive some of them where XD
