It's a gaming message board full of hardcore gamers.. Trust me, that means at least half of them are Wii haters, if not more.. They just aren't open about it, because the mods run a tight ship here. That's not to say I hold anything against them though, it is merely their opinion. After all, if I said what I thought about the PS3 or Kinect on this board I'd be banned instantly :) |
Well, hardcore gamers should respect and like the Wii just for Shigeru Miyamoto alone. He's a gaming "God" who did a lot for the industry. Now the PS3 is curently my console of choice, but I doesn't mean I hate the other consoles. Miyamoto's Mario titles are hardcore because they are quality, entertaining, and classic. In my book if you cannot respect Nintendo but for the wrong reasons then you are not a hardcore gamer.
GT5 impresses in EMEAA... Dissapoints in Japan and Americas.
An amazing number
By my calculations 1,021,438 of the 1,455,574 units if Wii software in the top 10 were included with the purchase of the Wii console.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
The PS3 passes 20 million in EMEAA. The DS and Wii are monsters. Great software sales all around.

What kind of legs do you expect? Even if it can keep up first week sales for 2 months it would still be a flop. It is less than 5k... |
It'll have legs of 200 units per week. Of course it's sarcasm, but it was just to hide my disappointment, because this franchise is one of the best ever made, and it makes me sad to see how Sony is not advertising it in EMEAA and how EMEAA is not aware of such an awesome game.
