Well, I don't know if it's really possible, even if it doesn't have to run 1080p games, because the screen is smaller, I don't know if we'll really see any differences. Maybe with the help of an HD screen it might. Dunno much about that. But it would be awesome if it was the case.
also can i say that thing needs FULL playstation Network support. Trophies, same Game Tag as its big brother AND needs to have.. and this is vital to get the 'cod' gamers on... Good online, hard but possible
If 3DS games such as SF4 and Resident Evil look almost similar to the PS3/360 version how is it not expected for the PSP2 can also produce quality similar as those.
well considering the rumours of dev kits overheating and needing to be put in PSP original size cases for cooling I would say the rumours of half PS3 seem about right. but with the PSP already tapping out at about 7 hours of battery life I am guessing that this will ether be as big as original psp and $349 or more and 4 hour battery life, or they move to a lower power chip. It's not looking good for the PSP2 I think Pachter might be right about this one, DoA.

the original PSP already have online, and uses the same user name as the Ps3, its not hard.

because at ~half as powerful as a PS3 that puts it at about ~8* more powerful than the 3DS...

nope, no friends list, no REAL online gaming and alot of other PS3 features when it comes to the network
thanks for the reply but the 'its not hard' was very rude.

Goodness do i have to go on youtube and post those PSP online multiplayer videos everytime someone says something like this? =/ , i must have giving those people lots of hits.
This is no Adhoc , its online, you know with the Wifi and all? , besides Friendlist is very easy to include, they didn't have it on PSP because the system wasn't 3G
Remote play of all PS3 title would be a pretty nice feature. Even better, complete control of your PS3 through remote. Look possible to me if we consider what can already be done through remote with the regular PSP and the quality of streaming onlive is able to achieve.
