According to the Japan preview we already expect the Wii to drop YoY 45,000 to 60,000 for the week and Wii was down 15% YoY in EMEAA BF week. Wii almost got back to 2009 levels with the great BF week sales in NA. Wii had some great deals available BF week, far better than last year where Wii relied on NSMBWii launch and October price cut.
PS3 is expected to drop YoY 10,000 to 20,000 in Japan according to the preview and beause of GT5 launch week last week the results should fall back closer to 2009 levels this week. in NA PS3 shouldnt drop as hard as it did last year week after BF week even thought GT5 launched last week. BF deals in 2009 for PS3 were better so the drop should be less dramatic where PS3 fell from 486K to 218K.
X360 is expected to stay at about the same small numbers in Japan. EMEAA and NA BF week werent effected by any big launch titles and Kinect continued to sell every unit that became available. There were some good BF deals for non-Kinect 360s so it will be interesting to see how much that effects 360 sales.
So I predict the following:
| Wii | PS3 | X360 | |
| NA | 700,000 | 259,000 | 500,000 |
| Japan | 52,500 | 40,000 | 4,000 |
| Everwhere else | 450,000 | 290,000 | 255,000 |
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
