First, it doesn't say "since 9 months" but rather "after 9 months of sales". Second, the 400,000 number is not from Howard Stringer, it's from an unknown source.

And the xbox 360 is not a good references...since it only sell 15 millions 360 in more than two years...its not a big deal to beat that.

Wii ware-Fatal Frame 4-Street Fighter 4-Sonic Unleashed-guitare hero 3-Disaster-wii fit-mario kart-Sadness-Games who actually use Wii Board...i dont know but,...it seem big enough for me.By the way,im a proud owner of P.E.S 2008 Wii and it kill all the other soccer game.

Année record pour le marché français qui devrait parvenir à dépasser 1,1 milliard d'euros en chiffres d'affaires, soit presque le double de l'année précédente (568 millions). Raison de tout cela, cinq millions de consoles ont été écoulées en 2007 contre « seulement » trois en 2006. Le marché des jeux et accessoires, détenu à 50% par Nintendo notamment grâce à sa DS, est quant à lui estimé à 2,4 milliards d'euros. Voici pour terminer les ventes totales des consoles de génération actuelle et précédente en France depuis leurs sorties :

1. Playstation 2 – supérieur à 5,5 millions
2. Nintendo DS – supérieur à 4,4 millions – (2,2 millions en 2007)
3. Wii – supérieur à 1 million – (1 million atteint mi décembre 2007)
4. Xbox – 750.000
5. Xbox 360 – 500.000 (200.000 en 2007)
6. Playstation 3 – entre 400.000 et 500.000
