Ah, so this is what the Zenkai Battle Royale trademark was for. Namco Bandai announced Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale, an upcoming arcade game with network support.
Four cabinets are in a row for a reason. This teaser trailer shows four player battles with Goku, Krillin, Frieza, and Piccolo.
Namco Bandai is developing a four player Dragon Ball fighting game for arcades. But, what if you show up to Club Sega and the other three Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale cabinets are empty?
Well, you can play online. Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale has a countrywide (as in Japan-only) network system, which even shows where your opponents are located.
Details about the fighting system haven’t been announced, but like the PSP game Dragon Ball: Tenkaichi Tag Team you can team up on another player. One screenshot shows Goku holding Vegeta in place for Krillin to hit. That could be an interesting mechanic, especially because it Goku uses a move like that to help Piccolo finish off Raditz.
