Dragon Quest IX was announced December 2006.

Dragon Quest X was announced December 2008.

SE have a habit of releasing info about their DQ franchises during the month of December. Just months ago the game was re-confirmed for the Wii and we were told the game was "not that far out."

Will we learn more about this game this December?

I really want this one, I loved the recent DS remakes (DQ5 is one of my alltime favourite RPGs now, joining the ranks of the Kitase trilogy (FF6, 7, and 8), Chriono Trigger, Skies of Arcadia, Xenogears, and Earthbound. and Dragon Quest 9.

I hope yes, I can't wait to shut up the Wii to PS3/3DS port devotes.

My hope is that the secret JUMP game is DQVII Wii, and it releases in spring 2011 with some major DQX announcements coinciding.  Also, DQI-VI for Virtual Console.

Please! I beg you, Horii! And give us DQVII/VIII remakes too, :D.

Though the latter won't happen until the Wii version passes 4m so that they're assured that there's a fanbase to sell to.

We've gotta hear something.  Horii said we'd get new information before the year is out, iirc, and there's only a month left.
