^^ This is where it's always been.

What does that mean, no Xenoblade in the US and EMEAA?

I would hate to blame Nintendo for the death of the Xeno series, but if that is true I will grow a hatred for their inability to take a risk to please a few fans instead of their wallets.

Xenoblade isn't part of the Xenosaga series. It's named Xenoblade as a tribute to the series, as it was made by the same company. This is why the original name was Monado, and then it was changed.

More accurately, Monolithsoft (or maybe Nintendo) decided that they could trade on the existing popularity of the Xenosaga series by naming it Xenoblade.

Monolith Soft is an amazing company. It doesn't matter if it was named Monado or Xenoblade. I would buy it.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

NoE had the balls to localise Disaster, so I'm still holding out hope for Xenoblade

Well if NOE bring Xenoblade and NOA won't, I'll import it, install homebrew and maybe send NOA an email telling them that is what I did.

Call me an optimist though, but I am still certain Xenoblade will get localized for the US, there is no reason for it not to, as opposed (imo) to the other games that weren't.

Currently Playing: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, Professor Layton and the Curious Village

Anticipating: Xenoblade, The Last Story, Mario Kart 7, Rayman Origins, Zelda SS, Crush3D, Tales of the Abyss 3DS, MGS:Snake Eater 3DS, RE:Revelations, Time Travellers, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Luigi's Mansion 2, MH TriG, DQ Monsters, Heroes of Ruin

Xenoblade and The Last Story will probably both come over.  I still remember Chris Kohler reporting when he bugged Cammie about a Reginliev localization last year her response was "I was expecting you to ask about Xenoblade and The Last Story?".  If Cammie, of all people, knows about the games, my guess is they've been planned all along.

Lol, this actually makes sense!

A gut feeling also tells me that they're just gonna officially announce it now is all!

I'm as sure as I can be that The Last Story will be localised, it's dev costs will be too high to justify not localising it, plus the fact it's made by the guy who made some of the final fantasies which were popular in the west.  Plus Monster Hunter 3 shows that 'niche' Japanese games can sell to Western Wii owners if they are advertised well.

Xenoblade is still up in the air, I can see it going either way.

Tales of Graces hasn't got a chance now.  I held out hope for Nintendo to publish it outside Japan, but now it has gone multiplat I can't see it happening

Let's be honest here.  There are not a lot of JRPG fans with Wii's since Wii hasn't had any JRPGs to really get excited about.   JRPGs seem to be a dying breed as well.

However, Wii now has some of the biggest and best with Xenoblade, The Last Story, Tales of Graces and DQ X.

Individually, they will not pull enough people to Wii to matter (outside of DQX in JP), so if NoA / NoE are to make anything of having them, I think their best bet is to announce them all pretty much simultaneously and then release them strategically (one every 3 months or so).    If JRPG fans see a chance to get 3 or 4 of the best JRPGs this generation,  that will encourage them to buy a Wii, if just for that.

Now if only Nintendo can get KH3 as well... That would make it a sure buy for fans of the genre.

And a new Fire Emblem would be nice Nintendo...
