Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo yanks Monado from their public games list.

Seriously, why buy out a company only to kill their best franchise?

I seriously hope Xenoblade is getting localized.

I wouldn't keep my hopes up, they didn't even give us Soma Bringer.

Sorry guys, but sometimes Nintendo really sucks.

^^ This is where it's always been.

What does that mean, no Xenoblade in the US and EMEAA?

I would hate to blame Nintendo for the death of the Xeno series, but if that is true I will grow a hatred for their inability to take a risk to please a few fans instead of their wallets.

Did you even click? lol
It's listed under US. Monado.

Soma Bringer wouldn't have done well. Xenoblade on the other hand has a chance, but I don't know if it would do well in this market. Last Story on the hand would do pleasantly well if they actually bothered.

Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Graces, and this game are probably the best jRPGs this generation.  ToV came here, but not the full version for PS3.  Tales of Graces and Xenoblade will probably never see the light of day here.

Very sad generation for jRPG fans.  This was one of the games I bought my Wii for.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Did you even read it? It's still there on page 6 under United States.

If Nintendo doesn't localize Xenoblade or The Last Story then this will be by far by biggest dissapointment generation for Nintendo.

He is correct. God I would DIE for this game though. I am in desperate need for a good JRPG. I know Monolith Soft will not disappoint me!

There was still even more recent GoNintendo news about this as this is very old...

"

Reader Jack wanted to know what the fate of Line Attack Heroes and Xenoblade in the United States, so he emailed Nintendo customer service. Here's the response he received.

It’s not surprising that you want to know more information about these two games. Believe me, we are every bit as excited as you are to learn more about what’s coming!

Having said that, Nintendo is very careful to only show games when the developers are ready to do so. Also, we tend to concentrate on showing off products coming out in the near future. This means that you know as much as anyone else outside the development teams about Monado: Beginning of the World and Line Attack Heroes. While both games are still showing announced with the information I have, we don’t have any additional information to provide.

Eventually, we will pull back the curtain and share all new and exciting details on our website (www.nintendo.com). In the meantime, however, we appreciate your patience as development continues and ask that you continue checking the website.

I've seen responses that have given a lot less information, so this makes things sound pretty good. Just keep those fingers crossed for details soon!"

How do you know Soma Bringer wouldn't have done well? If they weren't going to try, why bother buying Monolith?

Anyone notice that Monado is now listed as Monado (temp)

Good chance that they will announce it as Xenoblade soon.
