I dare you to try to get the 20 million credits it takes to get to the top rank in Halo Reach

Why? Do you start losing points when you lose at higher ranks? If you do I might start it playing again.

No you don't lose credits but it takes 20 million credits to get to the top rank which is utterly ridiculous.

FFXIII. I didn't even have expectations for this game and still managed to suck horribly. Thanks for putting the final nail in the coffin to what was once my favorite RPG series SE.

I can't decide between Halo Reach or Red Dead Redemption.

Halo Reach- Cool at first but then it gets boring.

RDR-  Played it for 2 hours and never touched it again.  My brother finished it and he said he loved it.  But I just couldn't get into it.

I wanna include BO since I hate CoD.  But I have to admit that playing Zombies is pretty fun.  The online is still broken though.

Overrated- RDR

Overhyped- Halo Reach

Disappointing- Heavy Rain just for the fact that I never wanted it to end :(  I freaking loved that game!!

God of War III, only because it was God of War II with better graphics and boss fights.  I was expecting more variety in enemies and fighting larger amounts of enemies.  It's like the creators didn't want to take a single risk and change something up.  It's a great game but if a sequel doesn't change the formula at all, it should not be rated highly imo.  Don't get me wrong, I loved the game, but it was God of War II with a new paint job.  I wished they would have let you keep the titan powers and combine them with the god powers and then fight double or triple the enemies.  It would have been epic fighting 6 cyclops at once.  My last gripe is the bullshit, the power was in you all along, cliche.  Why not let me be completely powered up at the beginning of the game?  Oh, that's right, that would involve changing up the formula from God of War II.

1. If it aint broke, don't fix it ! God of War 1 was great... 2 was a significant improvement... 3 was simply the most refined in terms of gameplay and somewhat of a step up from 2 in terms of gameplay.

2. "It would have been epic fighting 6 cyclops at once."

Fail. You did fight 5-6 cyclopses at a time before the Labyrinth.

3. Story was never the strongest part of God of War...and its a legit reason why I'd think someone would think the game was over-rated imo.

4. The "formula" may not have changed.... but there were some new things that were pretty cool like the rideable creatures, sub-weapons that you'd actually use, and stuff like the hermes boots with the alt dodge option....

Compared to most other hack n' slashes, I felt the God of War story was pretty enjoyable. But that's just me.

I swear I would fall asleep while playing FFXIII and wake up 10 minutes later still tapping the X button.

I'll have to go through my DS library to see which of the games I have came out this year. (Really, I can't tell). Didn't buy a wii game this year and I only play HD games on my friend's HD consoles. So I haven't beaten any HD game and can't be disappointed or impressed.

My thread for teaching VGC some Nigerian slangs

ZOMG FFXIII was boring. We should castrate it!

@all the hate for mass effect 2. You can hate it. Though I think it's a tad overrated. The issues comparing it to ME1 is what I'm going to talk about. I played them on PC by the way.

But imo ME1 was a ok rpg compared to NWN,BG,KOTOR, and poor shooter.

The second one was a streamlined RPG and a good shooter with some great powers And though it skirted around many of the decisions made in 1. It was still neat nonetheless and more than most direct sequals do... or more than any I can immediatly think of. They should have added in the hammerhead... though. The sections in overlord are much better than the mako in ME1 imo.

But with dragon age I'm not sure I like the choice to streamline it because it was a good-great RPG.

All imo ofcourse.

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Solid game but not a 97 for me, look like more a SMG "more", and extension pack from first game.

But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.
